Despicable Me is on it’s way to becoming a timeless children’s classic that adults will also enjoy.

I adore those cute little yellow minions!  Wish I had some of those little guys to help me around the house! Maybe not as those cuties tend to wreck a lot of stuff. Well, of course being an animated film, there are no real minions but there are some really cute Despicable Me costumes including a Minion Dave costume.

Despicable Me Child’s Costume, Minion Dave Costume

The Minion Dave Costume comes in sizes Medium, Small and Toddler. Medium is sizes 8-10 and is recommended for ages 5 to 7.  It measures 13 inches wide by 1 inch thick by 39 inches long.  Small size is for sizes 4-6 and is recommended for ages 3 to 4. The costume measures 11 inches wide by 1 inch thick by 33 inches long.  The Toddler size is for ages 2-4 and fits children 12 months to 2 years. It measures 11 inches wide x 1 inch thick by 24 inches long.

This costume may look a little awkward on the child, but it is made of foam and is very light. There is also a Minion Jorge costume with all the same sizes and dimensions.

Agnes, that funny little orphan that captures Gru’s and all of our hearts has a costume too. The  Agnes Costume from Despicable Me  comes with a wig to recreate Agnes’ one of a kind hairstyle. It looks like two pieces, a t-shirt and overalls but actually it’s a one piece outfit with buttons and pockets. It is made of polyester and hand washing is recommended.

The Despicable Me Agnes costume comes in sizes Toddler and Small.

In case you haven’t seen the Despicable Me movie yet, you should. If you are an adult and do not have a kid to take to see it, go anyway, or borrow a kid from a friend, neighbor or relative to take with you. You will enjoy it. It boasts some big names in the cast of voices. Steve Carell of The Office is the voice of the main character Gru. Gru is an evil villain who is trying to make a name for himself among all the other evil villains in the world.

He isn’t quite evil enough for his mother who is played by Julie Andrews from The Sound of Music. She totally doesn’t sound like the Julie Andrews we know and love with her proper British accent. It sounds like she had a lot of fun with playing this roll.

Margo, is the oldest orphan and is played by Miranda Cosgrove. If you don’t know who Miranda Cosgrove is, ask your kid. She’s the main character in Nickelodeon’s mega hit iCarly.

The other characters don’t have major stars doing their voices but they are charming and funny too.

Edith plays the middle girl and is constantly seen wearing a pink hat.

Agnes is probably the most memorable of the three sisters. She plays the youngest of the siblings and is hilarious and adorable at the same time.

Vector plays the arch enemy of Gru and is a more successful villain than Gru, much to Gru’s dismay.

And of course we couldn’t forget the minions. Minion Dave and Minion Jorge are the main ones featured in the film.
